Featuring a predominantly black stealthy look, the Mercedes G Wagon Edition 1 includes subtle red accents on the side mirror caps, alloy wheels, and brake calipers carrying the AMG lettering in black. A closer look at the side profile reveals an almost hidden grey decal at the bottom of the doors, similar to other Edition 1 models.
Beyond these mild styling tweaks, it remains the same G63 many people admire, complete with the menacing Panamericana grille up front and the signature side exhausts. The classic turn signals receive a black tint to match the near all-black exterior.
Inside the cabin, the Mercedes G Wagon Edition 1 continues the black and red theme, with red touches on the seats and the steering wheel’s top marker. A glossy burgundy trim is applied to the door panels, lower centre console, and the grab handle mounted on the dashboard. Red stitching across the seats, upper door sections, and dashboard completes the look.
As Edition 1 focuses mainly on aesthetics, the G63 powertrain remains the same. It retains the biturbo 4.0 litre V8 producing 577 horsepower and 627 pound feet of torque, capable of an estimated sprint to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 149 mph with the AMG Driver’s Package.
